The location is hard to beat. Directly behind Empire Live was perfect! Looks like there is lots to do in the area. The room was large and comfortable. Lots of choices for breakfast. Secure elevator makes you swipe the key first.

Very good location. Walkable to the Statehouse, restaurants, and other areas. Breakfast included with bacon, eggs, waffles, etc. Clean hotel overall. We also really liked the complimentary water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby.

Loved the location of the hotel. Nicely located a block from the main street, easy walking distance to the MVP Arena (we went to see a show there), ultra friendly staff, well kept and comfortable rooms. Large lobby that includes seating area as well as breakfast space. Close to a few bars and restaurants as well.

Good hotel at a reasonable price. Nice staff greeted me. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good selection of typical breakfast items. I took the #114 bus from the Amtrak Station (Albany/Rensselaer) and after a 6 minute ride I was within two blocks of the hotel during. Many restaurants within a two block radius. Uber cost about $12 for a Saturday morning hotel to Amtrak Station. The bus was $1.50. All in all I was happy that I stayed at the Hampton Inn and would go back.

Liked staff and location. Facilities very clean. They did accomadate me on an earlier check in as long as it was after 12...they would charge you for the prior night if you check in before (didnt make sense or seem fair but arrived at 2:30pm and was accommodated with room. The Inn is in a great quiet location of restaurants, bars, theater, and shopping within walking distance.

All of the staff inside was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Came for a concert and the hotel was walking distance from the venue. the breakfast was included and had a large selection. there was also security guarded valet parking and it wasn't that expensive for one night.
